In October, photographer Jean Michel Andrรฉ worked with the young people to develop a heritage story through photography. This support was organised in several stages, following the design approach.
Immersion day:
The group met for the first time during a day spent visiting the area. They visited the Citรฉ des Electriciens, the Haillicourt slag heaps, 9-9 bis and the Vimy Canadian Memorial. The day was devoted to building group cohesion, discovering the heritage of the Autour du Louvre-Lens destination and giving initial thought to the photographic approach to a site.
Co-creation workshop:
The following days were organised around brainstorming, ideation and conceptualisation of ideas. Jean-Michel got them to think about the issues of heritage, tourism and photography, to propose routes and itineraries for discovering the area through photography, and to conceptualise them in a proposal. These workshop sessions were punctuated by photo outings in the streets of Lens.Atelier de co-crรฉation :
At the end of the co-creation workshops, 3 concepts emerged:
A one-day photographic tour of Lens
A one-day itinerant photographic tour of major sites
4D/3N photographic break
