Design thinking for a heritage site – Storytooling project closing presentation

The CID is pleased to invite you to the closing event of the European Storytooling project:
📅 Wednesday 15 May 2025, welcome to participants from 9.30 am
📍 CID at Grand-Hornu, Belgium

This event will be a unique opportunity to discover the results of an innovative approach aimed at involving young people in the creation of new narratives around the industrial heritage of our territories.

On the programme:
🔹 Presentation of the Storytooling methodology, developed to stimulate territorial attractiveness
🔹 Discovery of the inspiring prototypes designed throughout the two years of the project (participative activities)
🔹 Exchanges and discussions on future perspectives
🔹 Lunch with Rizom, gastronomic restaurant of Grand-Hornu

● The destination Around Louvre-Lens through the lens
● Grand-Hornu: gamification of a UNESCO site with designer Lucile Soufflet
● A newspaper inscribed in stone: the Alentejo marble quarries
● Europimpulse and the Ojos Negros greenway: art, women and inhabitants
● TICDCE: passing on heritage through digital immersion

11: 05-12:20 – Round table ‘Integrating youth and industrial heritage: Co-creating new narratives through creative practices’ and Q/R session Lunch – A time to network and share ideas over a delicious meal.

From 13:45 – Discovering the prototypes: participatory activities
